Beautiful Norwegian Currency

WOW, that is some beautiful banknotes that will eventually be Norways currency and I for one cannot wait to get my hands on some. The colors of the notes themselves are a thing of beauty, but also the design is absolutely incredible. Even though these banknotes will become the actual currency of Norway there is no mistaken the value for any collector, as these will be a must have for any collection. So how did these come about and who do we have to thank? Well Norway's Norge Bank invited eight teams to submit there best proposals of sea themed banknotes for the redesign. The banknotes pictured were submitted by Snohtetta Design. There propsals will appear on the backs on Norway's Krone banknotes that will depict these sea theme designs. Their original proposal depicted the pixelated backs with black and white photos of Norwegian coasts.

Unfortunately their proposals for the front were rejected in favor of the design submitted by Metric System whose design was more prosaic like the banknote below. 

What a beautiful combination of the front and back of a banknote. Two great proposals used to make one of the most beautiful banknotes ever created. 

So when will these amazing banknotes surface? Unfortunately we are going to have to wait until at least 2017 until they are released. Please stand by as we continue to provide updates on these banknotes and how you can get your hands on your very own.
